instinct – illustration friday

Monsters are often just misunderstood, and not really bad.  This is all just a big misunderstanding, and a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.  The helicopter blew up the town and the monster was just walking by.  It it is not a monsters natural instinct to walk into a city and just start destroying things.  Just like it is not our natural instinct to want to shoot missiles at monsters.  I hope you have a wonderful day and don’t find yourself in any monster sized misunderstandings.

  5. When I was about two years old, a monster came in through my window while I was taking a nap. The monster took all of my toys out of my toybox, played with them and left through the afore mentioned window. My Mother arrived on the scene and discovered the mess…and who do you think got blamed for this..? ME! I had to clean up all of those toys!
Just wanted to let you know that Monsters are not totally blameless. LOL!!!!

  6. Yes, sis, I remember that story well. It is one of my favorite stories, because it is so creative. I hate that you had to take the fall for the monster and clean your room, yet I’m really glad that you were not old enough to think about pinning it on me instead. I would also like to point out that the monster that messed up your room was probably having a bad day, and is really sorry. :)
