pen with ink

I bought a used set of Koh-I-Noor pens on eBay a few months back and I’m finally trying them out.  I was very excited ,because of the larger sized pen tips in the set.  The pens look like new, however, I had trouble getting them to write at first.  The two largest tips will not put out consistent ink yet.  It is a work in progress, but I’m confident that everything will function properly soon.  I drew a picture of the .60 size pen to celebrate the occasion.  Pens, India ink, and art paper, what else do you need? Have a wonderful and creative day. :)

  4. I used to swear by these. First tried them in high school, long, long ago. Their main problem is that they can dry up very quickly, and so frequently clog(you have to really shake them and make sure you hear the tip mechanism “clicking” as it moves–hopefully–freely inside the pen), and they are pretty damned difficult to clean, but they give a lovely line I can’t say I’ve found duplicated elsewhere.
    Have fun with them!

  5. Thank you Jenny for the excellent advice. I will try that on the pens that were not flowing properly.
