I tried out my new pen on this drawing.  The pen won, since I don’t quite have the hang of it yet, but will soon.  I press a little hard, when I draw, and the pen was biting into the grain of the Moleskine journal paper.  The moral of the story is to relax, don’t push so hard, and let it flow.  Hmmm, sounds like this could apply to more things than just drawing.
